Beech wood typically has a pale cream to pinkish-brown color that can darken slightly over time. It features a fine, even texture with a straight grain, occasionally showing a slight wavy pattern.
Beech Tray Frame
All our Gallery tray frames are made from FSC certified solid timbers. The side of the trays are constructed from a timber of your choosing whilst the subrame / base is made up from Obeche.
The timber is pinned on to the obeche subframe using appropriate sized brad nailer, all pin holes will be filled with a colour matched wood filler.
Frames will come sanded and treated with a matt clear lacquer unless you state otherwise.
Tray frames will require pre drilling and depending on your canvas depth it may require packers to bring your work to the desired height. Hanging fixings are not supplied.
Please allow for a 3/4 week turnaround. If you require your frames sooner please get in touch.
